René Schrama joined Peak Technologies UK in November 2020 as director of solutions and innovation and currently holds the position of managing director, Peak Technologies UK, where he is responsible for managing the Peak Technologies international business and the company’s M-Netics retail software suite. In his previous role as director of solutions and innovation, Schrama helped shape Peak’s market-leading technology solutions working closely with the sales, marketing and solutions teams to support businesses across a broad variety of industry verticals including retail, hospitality, manufacturing and transportation/logistics.

Peak Technologies is introducing Peak Analytics, a robust image recognition platform designed to enhance supply chain visibility, particularly in high-volume logistics. It provides businesses with real-time data on packages and pallets as they move through distribution systems, improving operational efficiency. The no-code system captures information on package or pallet quality and condition, typically using existing scan tunnels. This data helps identify issues, reduce returns and improve overall supply chain throughput. One of its standout features is the use of AI to create detailed, actionable dashboards that can monitor up to 50 million scan events per day, ensuring better performance throughout the supply chain.
