Imagine a world without safety fences, where humans and robots work side by side. In this world, robots handle strenuous tasks, allowing humans to focus on lighter, more skilled or demanding work. Fanuc says that its collaborative robots make this a reality.
The company reports that its newest CRX-30iA collaborative robot is transforming production environments by seamlessly integrating robots into human workspaces. These ‘cobots’ take on tedious, repetitive tasks, such as heavy lifting, to protect human health while automating entire assembly lines.
The CRX-30iA boasts a 30kg payload and a 1,756mm reach, allowing it to handle heavier end-of-arm tooling and multi-part tasks effortlessly. Its ease of programming, paired with Fanuc’s leading technology, proven reliability and sensitive contact detection, ensures that the CRX-30iA works safely alongside people in various industrial and manufacturing environments.
Equipped with sensitive sensors, the CRX-30iA triggers an immediate safety stop at the touch of a human body, ensuring a safe workspace. It can easily learn from humans using the manual guided teaching function – simply lead the robot to the desired position and save it on the tablet using drag-and-drop functionality. The CRX-30iA requires no special surface for installation and the controller is powered by a regular power source (200-240V). With 40 years of experience building industrial robots, Fanuc says its passion for perfection results in high-quality products that work perfectly for a long time, helping customers increase their productivity.
