Breakthrough autonomous delivery vehicle

Parcel+Post Expo exhibitor Cainiao claims that its autonomous delivery vehicle represents a breakthrough in delivery technology. It features a fully self-developed software and hardware stack and, equipped with L4 autonomous driving capabilities, navigates effortlessly between locations and can operate 24/7 in various traffic and environmental conditions.
The standard model comes with a 5m3 container capable of holding up to 1,500 parcels, with larger containers available for customization based on client needs.
This high-capacity design can effectively replace traditional vans for efficient delivery from distribution centers to PUDO or any OOH delivery options, reducing costs by up to 50% to as low as €0.1 (US$0.11) per package. The integration of advanced algorithms and hardware design achieves an optimal balance of safety, efficiency and cost.
