With the E-Cross / Slim Line, EAE Solutions offers a sorter that handles large and small parcels simultaneously without any loss of capacity. The system also improves gentle handling, has a higher chute utilization, and reduces wear and tear, sound levels and energy consumption. It can help CEP customers overcome the challenges of a diverse parcel spectrum.
The EAE E-Cross / Slim Line is a narrow carrier sorter that offers the versatile benefits of such a sorter while being packed with EAE’s latest developments, including innovative sorter controls and stereo-camera technology. It was developed in collaboration with leading European CEP customers.
Intelligent Dynamic Discharge (IDD) uses real-time 3D parcel dimensions and parcel position data collected by the Item Analysis System (IAS) stereo camera. The algorithm determines the best discharge trajectory for each parcel for safe and accurate sorting, resulting in maximum chute capacity.
Dynamic Speed Control (DSC) automatically optimizes the speed of the sorter based on the utilization rate of the sorter and its upstream conveyors. Each parcel is processed at the optimal speed, enhancing overall efficiency.
